He's kept us waiting!

The last time the comedy legend did a gig in Dublin was in 2010, a tour which broke the Guinness World Record for the best-selling comedy tour of all time.

After a 12-year hiatus, Peter Kay has announced he's back and he'll be performing at Dublin's 3Arena.

The tour will kick off in Manchester on the 2nd of December, and it will be coming to Dublin on the 6th and 7th of April 2023.

While Kay has been largely out of the public eye since his last tour, he made headlines back in 2017 when he cancelled a 14-month show at short notice due to "unforeseen family circumstances".

The 49-year-old, on the announcement that he was making his return to comedy said, "It'll be good to get back to doing what I love doing best - stand-up comedy - and if there's ever a time people need a laugh, it's now".

If the last tour is anything to go by, tickets for these gigs are going to sell like hotcakes.

So set your reminders for 10am on Saturday 12th of November when tickets go on sale.
