Janet Jackon's explained why she cancelled her Dublin show. The singer was supposed to play 3Arena on April 2.
In a video posted on her official Facebook page, she explained that she and her husband are planning a family.
The 49-year-old said "There actually has been a sudden change, I thought it was important that you be the first to know."
"My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can, try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you."
In the video, Jackson thanked her fans for their "love and loyalty". She went on to thank her dancers, her band and her crew.
"I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can", she promised.
