Electric Picnic 2018 is finally upon us! Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, NERD, Picture This, Due Lipa, Gavin James and Nile Rodgers and Chic are just some of the acts that will perform at the festival which returns to Stradbally, Co. Laois from Friday August 31st to Sunday September 2nd.
Met Eireann says the weather will be reasonable enough but not completely dry. There's expected to be a small amount of rain at times, so bring your wellies just in case!
Here's the day by day breakdown from the forecaster:
Dry and sunny to start. It will become cloudy this afternoon. There will be some very light drizzle tonight around 9pm-10pm but it will clear later in the night.
Temperatures will hit around 18 degrees today. Tonight will be very humid. Temperatures won't fall below 13 degrees.
There could be a little bit of drizzle tomorrow morning to start. However, tomorrow will be largely dry. There will be some cloud around in the morning but brighter with some sunshine coming through. Temperatures will hit 20-21 degrees in the afternoon.
Sunday will be a mixed bag with some rain around at times but dry periods too. Temperatures will be around the 20 degrees mark.
