Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of Ed Sheeran At Phoenix Park

After two heavy weeks of concerts in Cork, Galway & Belfast - Ed Sheeran will being his Irish tour to a close this week in Dublin's Phoenix Park. 

Traffic restriction and road closures will remain in place throughout the duration of the gigs, which are set to see a crowd of 150,000.

Tickets

Some tickets are still available for the Dublin leg of his cross country tour. Aiken has warned the public not to purchase tickets from secondary sites or bogus sellers.

Stage Times

Doors open at 5pm & the gig will end at 11pm.

  • 8.45pm: Ed Sheeran
  • 7.30pm: Anne-Marie
  • 6.30pm: Jamie Lawson
  • 5.45pm: Beoga

Security

Anyone without a bag will be fast-tracked through security.

Gardaí and Aiken Promotions have issued a joint statement on safety and security:

"If you bring bags, they must be less than A4. If you bring one bigger than that, it won't be allowed in."

"Please don't climb buildings. Please don't walk through the forest. Don't climb the trees. Stay on level ground. We want people to be safe both inside and outside the venue."

Banned items include: Umbrellas, any large-lens professional cameras or any form of video recorder, flag poles, selfie sticks, sticks for banners, any item that may be used as a weapon, bottles, glass vessels, cans, flasks, frisbees, illegal substances, scooters, skateboards or other skates, laser devices, prams or pushchairs, inflatable or folding chairs, suitcases, laptops, illegal merchandise, hampers and cool boxes, air horns, and all animals except service dogs and guide dogs.

Weather

Overall it looks like the weather across the next few days is set to be good:

Wednesday (today)

Sunny & clear day, no rain expected with highs of 16 degrees.

Friday (18th May)

Partly cloudy, with highs of 15 degrees.

Saturday (19th May)

Overall cloudy day, currently no rain expected with high temperatures of 18 possibly even 19 degrees.
