Elephant & Castle is expanding. The popular Temple Bar restaurant is opening in Rathmines "very soon".
Elephant & Castle, which is now owned by the Press Up group, is famous for its chicken wings.
The new eatery will be located at 272 Rathmines Lower.
An official opening date has yet to be announced but we will keep you posted.

Elephant & Castle first opened in Dublin in 1989. The restaurant's official website reads:
"This year sees us heading up to a mighty thirty year milestone in December, where we have become truly embedded in the history and fabric of Dublin cultural life. Now, finally, there is another exciting chapter for the Elephant & Castle story. We are on the move, up and out beyond our old neighborhood in Temple Bar, and into some new ones. So to all of our fantastic customers who may have missed us so many times over all those years because of the endless queues for our small restaurant, we just want to say one thing: Watch out!
