We've had a turkey, now a canary is vying for the top spot on the Irish charts.
"Carbon Monoxide Is Lethal As Hell" is the first single from canary balladeer Tommy McAnairey.
The cd is to mark Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week which starts today.
The song, according to Tommy, deals with all the classic themes, installing carbon monoxide alarms, getting boilers services and chimbleys swept, not wakin up dead.
All of the proceeds from the single go to Age Action and not Tommy himself.
