The 'eco-conscious jewelry and accessories' maker Alex and Ani has teamed up with SpunOut.ie to encourage a day of sharing positivity in Dublin.

The "Share The Positivity" day will start on Thursday April 28th with a Laughter Yoga class in the YMCA on Georges Street from 7:30AM.

Afterwards, Alex and Ani will arrange to have 100 coffees poured free of charge at coffee shops including Coffee Angel, Kaph and Clement & Pekoe.

Speaking about the importance of being positive, Claire O'Dowd, Communications & Outreach Officer with SpunOutie said: "The modern world can be a stressful place and we can spend a lot of our time focusing on the negative aspects."

"It's well worth remembering the power of positivity. Positive thinking can be used as a tool to reduce stress and improve your own well-being. A simple positive action or kind gesture can change your mood or turns someone's day around."

The aim of the day is to lift and inspire the people of Dublin, and help support SpunOut.ie, Ireland's youth information website created by young people, for young people.

It provides information to around 80,000 active readers each month. Its vision is help create an Ireland where young people aged between 16 and 25 are empowered with the information they need to live active, happy, and healthy lives.
