David Beckham says he won't be the next James Bond.
He was linked to the role after confirming he wants to 'get better' at acting.
The former England footballer has made cameo appearances in Bend it like Beckham and The Man From U.N.C.L.E, and will be appearing in upcoming film Knights of the Roundtable.
However, it seems a role as big as Bond is a long way off. David told ITV's Good Morning Britian that it's not a role that's in the pipeline.
Beckham said "I was at the US Open and Sean Connery was two seats in front of me, and I'm such a big fan of his."
"I was going to kind of knock him on the shoulder and say, 'You know apparently I'm up for the next role!", he joked.
