We've gone all educational on Episode 17 of the Off The Ball League Of Ireland Podcast.

Hundreds of underage League of Ireland players began their Junior and Leaving Cert exams today so we opened the discussion on the merits of combining education and football.

Dundalk's Sean Hoare was live on Skype after signing a new extended contract with the club. He also spoke about his scholarship and degree from Maynooth via St Pat's and plans for life after football.

Life at Limerick is not so easy at the moment with financial issues and reports some star players want to leave the club.

Limerick Leader Sports Editor Donn O'Sullivan joined Jamie and Darren Cleary.

While two of the top players in the First Division were in studio.

UCD's Greg Sloggett and Longford Town's Sam Verdon sat down with Jamie to discuss combining football with education.
