98FM's sports show "Now That's What I Call Sport" airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.

Presented by Johnny Lyons, this week's show broadcast on Sunday December 8th features the following guests :

1. David Gillick -

I'm sure mental health was always an issue but it seems to be particularly topical as we head into another New Year.

Now I've a theory on the whole situation surrounding the Ireland v New Zealand defeat.

We've always had emotional happenings in and around a major occasion, for example when John "The Bull" Hayes cried his heart out during the national anthem played before the historic first English visit to Croker.

But what I witnessed before the Kiwi game was a level of emotional intensity never before seen in Irish sport.

After the debacle of the Aussie collapse the previous week, the rugby Boys in Green raised all aspects of their game including hyping themselves up almost to breaking point in order not to be disgraced by the all conquering All Blacks.

The boys were in a rarefied atmosphere - one in which they're not used to - and they battered their bodies and minds during what was a high powered game from beginning to end.

With everything staked on an historic victory, the manner of defeat was devastating with the winning score coming in time added on.

When the game was over, the lads gathered on the side of the pitch as you would at a funeral.

I'm convinced there'll be repercussions on the mental side.

And so does one of our top athletes.

Former Euro Indoors champ David will explain why he agrees with my theory and will draw from the well of his own heartbreaking experiences in the world of middle distance running where you can be a hair's breadth away from glory.

Oh - and as Celebrity Masterchef winner - we'll try and get the perfect Chrimbo menu from this culinary genius !

2. Mike Antoniades -

Speed Kills!

This interview is all about speed.

No not the amphetamines so loved by Lemmy of Motorhead and no not the version of metal so loved by our very own Dave Moore (trivia fans Dave listens to "Death Angel" when he's out cycling)!

But the kind of speed that I wasn't blessed with - pure pace on the pitch. (It you wanna an example of what I'm gettin' at check out The Hairy Man for Kill against Naas in the annual Stephens Day football extravaganza - btw bullet proof clothing is recommended on the sidelines)!

Yes speed as illustrated by Usain Bolt but on the football pitch.

Mike is the Performance and Rehabilitation Director of Sport Dimensions and is totally against athletes (as with Darren Campbell at Cardiff City) being involved with clubs.

He's worked with Celtic, Chelsea and the Italian FA and is adamant soccer's not about straight line running as there's a change of movement every 4 secs.

Though he believes bouncing up and down too much is a negative, the most fluent runner I saw was the ex Man U winger Karel Poborsky who was like a gazelle with a huge uplift every time he took a step.

And of the current batch I must say I love the way David Luiz glides around the pitch (ok Johnny enough's enough - stop when the going's good) !

Now, if I survive the interview, sure wouldn't you wanna go out on a fartlek after the show and show the Ringsend natives a bit of Johnny speed !

3. Mossy Quinn -

On the day of St Vincents' big Leinster Football Club Championship Final against Portlaoise at O'Connor Park in Tullamore The Hairy Man delves into the former All Ireland winner with the Dubs and scoops out purple patch portions, spirit of Heffo and Vins improvement slices and bites off more than he can chew when he analyses Mossy's attempts to avoid dirty nappies !

It's all ahead of you Stevo !

4. Shane Byrne -

We do the extremes in our rugby experts - from the shiny baldness to the gleaming locks of Shaner !

Another culinary genius though I think Shane's more of a gourmand! (Check him out on Celebrity Come Dine With Me Ireland).

Shane looks back on Leinster's massive Heineken European Cup game against Northampton on Saturday.

And - of course especially as he doesn't know it - but I bumped into his on screen gangster boss in Mrs. Brown's Boys new film who told me all about Shane's shenanigans during it's making, some of which I just have to mention - time permitting of course !

And to think he still doesn't know why his Glock wasn't loaded!

Competition :

4 copies of the GAA Football Championship 2013 Double DVD featuring the Dubs games against Kerry and Mayo in full plus highlights from other key matches.
