98FM's weekly sports show "Now That's What I Call Sport" airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.
Presented by myself Johnny Lyons, this week's show broadcast on Sunday November 10th features the following guests :
1. Keith Gillespie -
It's a special show featuring, in the main, the former Man Utd, Newcastle, Blackburn Rovers and Northern Ireland footballer who was virtually a professional gambler as well.
In his just published autobiography titled "How Not To Be A Football Millionaire", the now penniless Gilly - who'll be live in studio - revealed he'd lost more than 8 million quid! most of it through that age old vice gambling.
An action packed career which produced one of the best footballing displays of wizardry ever seen from a dazzling winger - for Newcastle in a sensational victory against Barcelona in the Champions League - also packed in as many fireworks off the field as on it !
Massive gambling debts, drink induced comas, completely unproven allegations of rape which left him languishing in a Spanish prison for a week and bankruptcy are just scratching the surface !
Yeah safe to say I'm up for this one !
2. Keith Wood -
We kick off the show with the oval ball legend that's Woody who looks back on the first of the November internationals against Samoa and ahead to next week'sTest against Australia.
3. Martin O'Neill -
Not confirmed yet but there's a smidgin of a chance the new Irish manager will join us for a cuppa and a few biccies !
