He's only gone and done it! Father Ray Kelly has reached the semi finals of this year's Britain's Got Talent, making him the only Irish act competing for the top prize.

He first wowed the judges back in April with his rendition of REM's Everybody Hurts, with Simon Cowell describing it as one of his 'favourite auditions ever'. 

This will be the toughest week yet in the competition, with semi finals taking place every single night this week, culminating in the Live Final this Sunday evening. 

We don't know exactly which night will see Fr. Ray compete in the semi final, but it's looking likely to be Thursday or Friday. 

We caught up with the singing priest before he jetted off to the UK later this week:
