Zayn Malik has reportedly landed a massive Hollywood role. The singer is set to help create a TV series about an up-and-coming boyband, a subject that Zayn is obviously an expert in after his One Direction days.
According to The Sun, the creators of Entourage are behind the new programme.
A source told the paper: "This is a big deal for Zayn. He has been keen to get stuck into different projects outside of music and this is the perfect move.
"It’s a subject he knows lots about and he will call upon his experiences to advise the scriptwriters on the show."
Zayn opened up to ELLE back in May about his acting aspirations back in May. He told the magazine that his dreams were put on hold when he shot to fame with 1D on The X Factor in 2010.
"I started acting when I was in school with theatre studies and then music came afterwards," he said.
"The acting completely stopped because I joined the band, but I'd definitely be interested if I was given the right part."
