Mrs Brown's Boys will return for two Christmas specials this year on RTÉ and BBC.

The long-running comedy series stars Brendan O'Carroll as loud-mouthed Irish matriarch Agnes Brown.

According to BBC, 'It's A Wonderful Mammy' will see Agnes meeting Clyde "who says he's an angel".

"Maybe he could grant Agnes her wish, to show her what life would be like if she'd never been born?", the broadcaster teased.

The second episode is titled 'Orange Is The New Mammy'. The New Year special will see Peggy Piper the Pernod poisoner out on appeal. Meanwhile, Buster loses the tank Dermot has hired for their latest promotion.

Over seven million people tuned into last year's festive specials.

An air date for the upcoming specials will be announced soon.

Mrs Brown's Boys D'Live Tour comes to 3Arena December 13th, 14th and 15th.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
