The remaining slots for Dancing With The Stars 2019 have been filled, and all 11 dancers for the third series of the show have been confirmed.

Demi Isaac Oviawe - who plays Linda Walsh in the Young Offenders - was announced as a dancer last night.

The 18 year old from Cork was on Friday night's Late Late Show, and outlined that she wanted to act as a role model for young people in Ireland.

"I’m so excited to be involved in this year’s show. I can’t wait to get started and learn a new skill. I’m hoping that I can be a role model for young black women in Ireland and maybe some might even follow in my dance steps."

Former Munster and Ireland scrum half Peter Stringer was also revealed as a contestant.

The 40 year old spent 15 seasons with Munster, during which time he had loan spells with English teams Saracens and Newcastle, before moving to England with Bath, Sale and Worcester.

The final dancer to be announced was country singer Cliona Hagan.

She first burst on to the Irish showbiz scene in 2009 when she appeared as a contestant on the first series reality talent competition, The All Ireland Talent Show.

Also set to take part in the race for the coveted Glitterball trophy include:

  • Denis Bastick - former Dublin footballer
  • Clelia Murphy - Fair City actress
  • Mairead Ronan - TV presenter
  • Fred Cooke - Comedian
  • Holly Carpenter - Former Miss Ireland
  • Darren Kennedy - TV presenter
  • Johnny Ward - Love/Hate and Fair City actor
  • Eilish O’Carroll - Mrs. Brown's Boys actress
