Tottenham Hotspur have bolstered their coffers for this summer's remaining football transfer dealings by agreeing a new eight year shirt sponsorship with Far East insurer AIA.

The partnership has a value of £40 million sterling a season and will run until the end of the 2026/7 season.

Naming rights for the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium have yet to be sold.  The state of the art facility in London cost £1 billion to build.

The club spent a record £65 million sterling to snap up Tanguy Ndombele and have been linked with moves for Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso and as of today, Juventus star Paolo Dybala.

Kieran Tripper has left to join Atletico Madrid, while the futures of Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld are uncertain.

Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy said of the sponsorship:

“This renewed and extended partnership demonstrates the strength and success of our well-established relationship with AIA and underlines the positive impact we have been able to bring to AIA’s brand and business. We are proud to have the immense support of AIA at such a significant time in the Club’s history. We shall continue to collaborate to drive the Club’s and AIA’s growth in Asia and support AIA’s commitment to healthy living in its Centennial year and beyond.”
