Mason Mount says Chelsea "need to finish off that last game" as the club starts to think about facing Manchester City in the Champions League final.

The England international scored the second goal in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final.

Thomas Tuchel's side will face City in Istanbul on May 29th with the German becoming the first manager in the history of the competition to reach consecutive finals with different clubs.

Chelsea have already beaten City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup this season and will face them again on Saturday in the Premier League.

22-year-old Mount came through the Chelsea Academy and has been a regular for Tuchel since he replaced Frank Lampard in January.

"We're very confident now going into the final" Mount told CBS Sports.

"To come through at this club and do it, now we're in a Champions League final..it's unbelievable but we haven't done it yet.

"We need to finish off that last game and hopefully we can win and it will be the cherry on top of a very good season."

Mount explained why Chelsea have turned things around under Tuchel, which keeps them on course to finish the season as European champions, FA Cup winners and inside the Premier League's top four.

"We're such a tight group, we run that extra yard for each other.

"I see one of their [Real Madrid] players before talk about how he doesn't lose sleep over individuals but as a team they need to lose sleep about us as a team.

"We give it everything and we're so strong together, we defend for our lives and we see today not many chances given away."

Mount was asked about the prospect of playing City in the final.

"We played them a couple of times already but there's nothing like a Champions League final.

"You can't replicate that so that's going to be a totally different game but we focus on them (City) on Saturday now."
