Waterford are celebrating their first Allianz League title in 8 years, they were 1-24 to 0-17 point winners over Cork on Sunday.

It was an impressive performance as they led from start to finish on the way to a 10 point win. Deise captain Kevin Moran capped off a man-of-the-match performance by lifting Waterford’s third league title a first since 2007.

Substitute Tom Devine's goal six minutes from time capped off the impressive win, it could've been an even bigger margin if not for 14 wides over the course of the game.

Their rivalry will be renewed again next month when the sides meet in the Munster semi-final on 7th of June. Waterford manager Derek McGrath believes the rebels will still fancy their chances of winning that one.
