WATCH | We catch up with Sexton, O'Mahony, Jordi Murphy and co at the Heineken Champions Cup launch

The 2018-19 Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup launch took place today and representatives from all four provinces were on hand to look ahead to the European campaigns as well as to discuss their seasons and objectives so far.

Leinster out half Johnny Sexton and head coach Leo Cullen, Munster captain Peter O'Mahony and head coach Johann van Graan shared their views as well as Ulster former Leinster back-row Jordi Murphy and new Connacht head coach Andy Friend who also discussed their respective situations at provincial level.

Munster 

Van Graan fronted up about Munster's uncertain start to the Pro14 season and also remained tight-lipped about Conor Murray's injury situation but did touch on Jean Kleyn's prospects of playing for Ireland when he becomes eligible next year.

Peter O'Mahony also talked about Kleyn as well as how Joey Carbery is settling in at Munster.

Leinster

Jonathan Sexton spoke about his eagerness to make the most of the latter part of his career as well as building on last season's trophy haul.

His head coach Leo Cullen also touched on the challenge of following up what happened in Bilbao when they won their fourth Heineken Champions Cup.

Connacht 

The new head coach out west spoke about how he is finding his feet at the province after succeeding Kieran Keane in the summer.

Ulster  

Meanwhile, we found out why he picked Ulster as a destination after departing Leinster.
