Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's the new manager of Cardiff City.

The Norwegian was very impressive at his press cionference and certainly inveigled himself into the hearts of all Cardiff fans by revealing one of his immediate aims is to finish above Swansea in the division.

His first job is to win much needed points for the club who are just above the relegation zone.

The former Champions League winner with Man U's on a rolling contract and has his first game in charge against Newcastle in the FA Cup on Saturday.

His first League match is a six pointer at home to West Ham.

If he can get anything out of his next two games in Manchester against City and then United then he'll be well on his way to keeping em in the top flight.

Solskjaer wants to bring his culture to the club and he brings two of his coaching staff with him from the Norwegian side Molde - they've have with him since him since his days in charge of Man U Reserves.

In terms of transfer activity in the window it's believed chairman Vincent Tan will free up 25 million quid for new signings.
