Dublin senior footballer Shane Carthy has urged anyone struggling with depression to seek help.
The Naomh Mearnog clubman has been undergoing treatment for depression, after he was diagnosed with the illness in May 2014.
Carthy is back in blue and has featured for Dublin in the O’Byrne Cup and their opening Allianz League game against Cork.
The talented Dubliner is on the road to recovery, he’s been speaking to 98fm’s Darren Cleary about his battle with depression.
Carthy hopes that speaking about his own struggle will help others.
