Stephen Bradley has told 98FM Sport that he will be applying for the upcoming UEFA Pro Licence course.

The Shamrock Rovers caretaker manager has his UEFA A Licence.

However, he will need to qualify as a UEFA Pro Licence coach if he is to become the full time manager at Tallaght Stadium at the end of the season.

The Hoops recently brought qualified Pro Licence coach Sami Ristilä onto the coaching staff, so they could maintain the current coaching structure until the end of the season.

Bradley took over from Pat Fenlon when he was sacked, but could only to do job on a temporary basis for 60 days due to FAI rules.

However Bradley has told 98FM Sport’s Jamie Moore he will be applying for the Pro Licence course, which begins in December:

Reports suggest he could be offered a three year contract to become to full time manager from the start of next season, if he gets on the Pro Licence.
