Jonathan Sexton looks set to be fit for Ireland's crucial Six nations clash with France next month.

The Racing Metro out-half is in the middle of a 12-week enforced layoff, after he suffered complications from concussion.

That means he's likely to miss the Six Nations opener against Italy in Rome.

But today's Irish Times says he should be fit for the second Six Nations game, which is against France at the Aviva.

Meanwhile, there was a boost for Leinster yesterday, with the news that Rob Kearney, Shane Jennings, Marty Moore, Eoin Reddan and Dominic Ryan all came through training unscathed.

They were all injury doubts for Leinster's Pro 12 clash with the Cardiff Blues on Saturday.

A final decision on Jennings won't be made until Friday morning, though.
