Robbie Keane is a doubt for the Republic of Ireland’s opening Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia next month.

He missed LA Galaxy's game over DC United on Wednesday, with what's been described as a "knock".

No further details have been given about the injury, but he's in a race against time to be fit for the Georgia clash in Tiblisi on Sunday, 7th September.

In better news for Martin O'Neill, Mark Noble is set to declare for the Boys in Green.

Today’s Daily Mail says the West ham midfielder has grown tired waiting for an England call up, and may opt for the Green jersey instead.

He's eligible through his Cork-born grandparents and would be a welcome addition to Ireland's midfield.

Noble won the West Ham Player of the Year award last season.
