Real Madrid players Eden Hazard and Casemiro have both tested positive for coronavirus.

The club announced the news as they prepare for tomorrow's LaLiga fixture away to 13th-placed Valencia. Four members of their academy team have also picked up the virus.

"Real Madrid CF announces that our players Casemiro and Hazard have given positive results in the Covid-19 tests carried out on Friday morning," the Spanish champions said in a statment.

"All the other players and the coaching staff of the first team, as well as all club employees who work directly with them, gave negative results in that same test carried out yesterday.

"Likewise, it is confirmed again that all, except for Casemiro and Hazard, have given negative results in the antigen tests carried out this morning."

Zinedine Zidane's side sits second in LaLiga ahead of the game at the Mestalla, just one point behind leaders Real Sociedad. They'll also be without full-backs Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola and center-half Nacho through injury.

Former Chelsea player Hazard will now be unable to play for Belgium against England in next Sunday's Nations League clash.
