Sergio Ramos has been left out of Spain's squad for Euro 2020 this summer but Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte has been included.

Manager Luis Enrique has only selected 24 players rather than the maximum 26-man squad allowed and has not included any Real Madrid players.

It will be the first time Spain will go into a major tournament without any representatives from Real.

Ramos has won 180 caps for Spain but only started 15 La Liga matches this season due to injury.

His only game since the end of March was the second leg of Real's Champions League semi-final defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It's the first time the 35-year-old hasn't been named in a Spain squad for a major tournament since Euro 2004.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has been included after he had his switch from France to Spain approved by Fifa recently.

Spain Euro 2020 squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Unai Simon, David de Gea, Robert Sánchez.

Defenders: Jose Gaya, Jordi Alba, Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte, Eric Garcia, Diego Llorente, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Llorente.

Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Rodri, Pedri, Thiago Alcantara, Koke, Fabián Ruiz.

Forwards: Dani Olmo; Mikel Oyarzabal, Alvaro Morata, Gerard Moreno, Ferran Torres, Adama Traoré, Pablo Sarabia.
