Today's early game was a real six pointer in the race for Champions League football, as Tottenham faced Everton at White hart Lane.

Despite rarely threatening the Everton goal, the home side managed to claim all three points through an Adebayor 64th minute strike.

Spurs are now just three points behind Liverpool, while Everton drop to five points off fourth spot.

At Old Trafford, it finished Manchester United 2. Fulham 2.

But things were looking even bleaker for United, as Steve Sidwell put the visitors in fron after 19 minutes. And it stayed at 1-0 until the 79th minute, when Van Persie tapped home the equalizer from two yards.

And the sides were level for about 60 seconds, before a deflected Carrick shot ended up in the back of the Fulham net.

And while United looked set for the 3 points, Darren Bent headed home a 94th equalizer.

Fulham remain in 20th place in the Premier League, while United stay in 7th and are now nine points off a Champions League place.
