Pogba will miss Manchester United's game against Spurs

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Paul Pogba is not ready to return against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League tomorrow.

The French World Cup winner is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained at the end of September.

Unlike Pogba, Scott McTominay is set to be fit.

United are ninth in the Premier League, eight points off the Champions League spots.

Following a spate of sackings in the top flight, Solskjaer says he is not worried about his job security:

"No, it doesn't make me more concerned. I'm just focusing on my job and that's just doing as well as I can. I look forward to the next game and just look long term, plan things with the board. It's that time of year. It's never nice to see your colleagues lose their jobs, now three in a very short space of time. It is as football is, it's a game of margins."

Solskjaer says he's feeling fine on a human level:

"No problem. Sometimes you laugh, you know when you read stories about what I have said. At least I know then the sources that everyone is talking about are not sources. They are made up blatant lies."

The fixture will mark Jose Mourinho's return to Manchester, and Solskjaer is expecting the Portuguese to receive a warm welcome:

"Very good reception. It's just a testament to this club and the supporters of this club. They'll remember the two and a half years he was here, he won trophies. For me, I am one hundred percent sure our fans will welcome him. And the staff, and the club. Everyone."
