Former St. Patrick’s Athletic midfielder Chris Forrester has been described as “priceless” by the chairman of his new club.

The Dubliner left St. Pats to join Peterborough United last August for an undisclosed fee and has had an excellent start to life with Posh- clearly impressing the League One side’s chairman- fellow Dubliner Darragh MacAnthony.

When asked on Twitter if a bid of £3 million would be enough to tempt to club to sell the midfielder, MacAnthony replied that it would cost “Way way over” that amount to buy him:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Way way over. Best Mid passer/player I&#39;ve ever signed &amp; priceless. <a href="https://t.co/EIeyzv5v2c">https://t.co/EIeyzv5v2c</a></p>&mdash; Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) <a href="https://twitter.com/DMAC102/status/684142219394183169">January 4, 2016</a></blockquote>

He also insisted Forrester was a better player than current Irish international Jeff Hendrick when asked to compare the two:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Better imo but Hendrick quality also but Chrissy will be better <a href="https://t.co/SCpWkvTGuG">https://t.co/SCpWkvTGuG</a></p>&mdash; Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) <a href="https://twitter.com/DMAC102/status/684147838616518656">January 4, 2016</a></blockquote>
