Peter Kelly could return to the Dublin hurling team this weekend.

The full back has been out with a hamstring injury since May.

That has seen him miss the heavy Leinster quarter final replay defeat to Galway in June, as well as the All-Ireland qualifier wins over Laois and Limerick earlier this month.

But he’s back to training and in contention to start in the All-Ireland quarter final against Waterford on Sunday.

Cian O’Callaghan and Niall McMorrow are also available, after overcoming a virus and a thumb injury respectively.

Dublin face Waterford in the All-Ireland quarter final at Semple Stadium in Thurles this Sunday, with throw in at 2pm.

It’s part of a double-header, with Galway facing Cork in the second quarter final from 4pm.
