On the back of the news that Wayne Rooney could be returning to his boyhood club, it seems that Rooney and Lukaku will be swapping jerseys in what is the summer's most interesting transfer to date.
Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the 24 year old Belgian who scored twice against Ireland in the group stage of Euro 2016. Lukaku left Chelsea for Everton back in 2014.
However, it seems that Jose Mourinho has won the race to sign the man who bagged 25 goals for the Toffees last season.
