Leicester striker Jamie Vardy is set to be out of action for up to two weeks.
The Premier League’s joint-top scorer will have minor surgery on a groin problem.
That will see him miss Leicester’s trip to Tottenham in the third round of the FA Cup this Sunday- and he is also a doubt for the Premier League clash between the same two sides the following Wednesday.
Vardy has starred for Leicester this season, scoring 15 goals to help the Foxes to second place in the Premier League table.
However, having gone on a record breaking run of scoring in 11 Premier League games in-a-row, Vardy now hasn’t hit the net in Leicester’s last four games.
