Kevin Doyle is out of the Republic of Ireland squad to face Scotland in a Euro qualifier at Parkhead on Friday with the striker returning to Crystal Palace for treatment on a groin injury.
James McCarthy and Stephen Ward didn't train with hamstring and ankle problems but Glen Whelan did train despite a recent leg break.
