Former Dublin defender Barry Cahill believes Dublin manager Jim Gavin’s biggest issue this year may be picking a starting side.

Dublin began the defence of their Allianz League crown in impressive fashion with a 2-14 to 0-14 win over Kerry at Croke Park on Saturday.

Paddy Andrews hit 1-4, the St Bridgids man put in a man of the match display as the Dubs took the points and the bragging rights against their bitter rivals from the Kingdom.

Paul Mannion gave his marker a torrid time as he announced his arrival back to the capital with a fine performance.

The Dubs forward had spent last year studying in Asia. The Boys in Blue are yet to welcome back Paul Flynn, Bernard Brogan, Eoghan O’Gara and Michael Darragh Macauley.
