James McCarthy is in line to return for Everton in the Merseyside derby this weekend.
He hasn't played yet in 2015 because of a hamstring injury.
That injury has been hampering the republic of Ireland midfielder for months, and saw him miss the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar, Germany and Scotland.
Reports this morning had suggested he had suffered a setback in his recovery.
But Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has denied that and says he is available to play against Liverpool this weekend.
