The Irish cricketers are expected to be on the lookout for a new coach very shortly.
Phil Simmons is being tipped to take over as West Indies coach over the coming days.
Simmons is a former Windies international.
He's led Ireland for the past 8 years, including to two World Cups.
He guided the Boys in Green to three victories at this year's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
One of those was a win over the West Indies.
It’s reported 51-year-old Simmons told the Ireland squad of the job offer to take over the West Indies after their loss to Pakistan on Sunday.
