Former Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has retired from football.
The Serbian defender, who recently left Inter Milan, has called it quits at the age of 34.
Vidic moved to Old Trafford in January 2006 and went on to win the Champions League in 2008 as well as 5 Premier League titles and 3 League Cups before moving to Milan in 2014.
"The time has come for me to hang up my boots," said Vidic.
"The injuries I have had in the last few years have taken their toll.
"I would like to thank all the players I have played with, all the managers and staff I have worked with, and say a big 'thank you' to the fans for their support over the years."
