Dubs Boss Jim Gavin Unhappy With Some Of Today's Officiating

Dublin boss Jim Gavin delivered some good news on the injury front this afternoon but only after he vented his spleen over some of the officiating during Dublin's All-Ireland Senior Football Quarter-Final win against Donegal.

James McCarthy (knee), Eric Lowndes (unspecified) and Tomás Brady are all expected to be fully fit for the semi-final clash with Kerry in three weeks time.

Eoghan O'Gara could miss out if he was to be suspended for his red card today although on replay it looked like a harsh sending off and while Gavin said he wanted to see it first, an appeal is expected.

Diarmuid Connolly also walked today, for two yellow cards and Brian Fenton followed the other two late on but only for a black card - neither is facing a suspension.

Gavin spoke afterwards in the post-match press conference about disciplinary matters and he is unhappy as he feels that Dublin players are not getting sufficient protectionYou can hear more from the Blues gaffer on Now That's What I Call Sport tomorrow morning at 9AM on 98FM.
