Dublin will avoid facing Kilkenny star Richie Hogan, when the counties clash next month.
The 2014 Hurler of the Year suffered a broken bone in his hand playing with his club Danesfort at the weekend.
The injury could see him miss up to ten weeks, so he is definitely out of the Leinster semi final against Dublin.
The Boys in Blue face Kilkenny in Portlaoise on June 11th.
Kilkenny could also be without Michael Fennelly for that tie- he is struggling with a hamstring injury.
