Tommy McCarthy will get Ireland's campaign underway at the AIBA World Elite Men’s Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Belfast heavyweight meets Nikolay Mutavski of Bulgaria in the last 64. Four Irish boxers; Michael Conlan (2), Paddy Barnes (5), Jason Quigley (5) and Joe Ward (6) were seeded in yesterday’s draw. All four have received byes into the last 32. McCarthy will be in action at approximately 3.30pm (Irish time) Monday.
