Dublin look set to be without Diarmuid Connolly for tomorrow’s All-Ireland semi final replay against Mayo.

The Dublin star has reportedly failed in his latest bid to overturn the red card he received in the drawn game last weekend.

He took his case to the GAA's Central Appeals Committee (CAC) last night, after it was upheld by the Central Hearings Committee on Wednesday night.

But after a long meeting last night the CAC upheld his one-match suspension, which means he's set to miss tomorrow's replay at Croke Park.

There is still a glimmer of hope for Connolly, however, as he can still bring his case to the Disputes Resolution Authority.

Reports today say Dublin will include Connolly in their team this evening in the hope the DRA will overturn the suspension.
