Interim UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor plans to knockout Jose Aldo in round one.
This fight is a long time in the making, Aldo and McGregor were supposed to meet in July, but the reigning champion withdrew days before the bout citing a rib injury.
McGregor questioned Aldo's decision to withdraw from the fight at the time: “I smell fear in him. It’s a beautiful aroma that arouses me. He went and saw a gynaecologist and it turns out he could not fight.”
McGregor fought on the UFC 189 card, defeating Chad Mendes instead for the interim championship.
The Dubliner is undefeated in the UFC, and he predicts an early victory against Aldo in the title unification bout
