Cian Healy and Mike Ross are facing a race to be fit in time for Ireland’s opening Six Nations game against Wales on February 7th.
The Leinster prop underwent knee surgery earlier this month. He limped off during the Guinness PRO12 win over Munster.
The timing of the elective procedure was in an effort to ensure he would be fit and ready for Ireland’s opening Six Nations game at the Aviva Stadium.
The veteran tighthead prop Mike Ross is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. He suffered a serious hamstring strain during Leinster’s Champions Cup defeat to Toulon earlier this month.

The news on Jamie Heaslip is much better. He has completed return to play protocols and is in line to feature in Leinster’s final Champions Cup clash against Wasps.
