Chelsea remain 7 points clear at the top of the Barclay’s Premier League table.

They left it late, before just edging past Everton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last night.

Willian scored the winner in the last minute, to give the Blues all 3 points.

There was some controversy however.

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic went unpunished for a headbutt on James McCarthy.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez wasn’t happy with the referee’s decision not to show Ivanovic a card:

But Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was in no mood to talk about the possibility Ivanovic could be punished:

Manchester City stay second in the table, after a convincing 4-1 win away to Stoke.

That was their first league win in five games.

Sergio Aguero scored a brace- his first time hitting the net since the start of December.

The champions are still 7 behind Chelsea.

But captain Vincent Kompany isn’t giving up on the title just yet:

Manchester United are up to third in the table, thanks to a 3-1 win over Burnley at Old Trafford.

Chris Smalling was the surprise hero for United there, scoring twice in the first half after coming off the bench.

Despite the win, United boss Louis van Gaal wasn’t happy with his side’s performance:

Southampton drop to fourth, after a goalless draw at home to 10-man West Ham.

Elsewhere, West Brom eased their relegation fears with a 2-0 win at home to Swansea.

And Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace drew 1-all with his former side Newcastle.
