Chelsea have been handed the toughest draw possible in the last-16 of the Champions League.

The Blues face Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Paris Saint Germain in the first knockout round of European football's premier competition.

The French champions were knocked out by Chelsea at the quarter-final stages last season shorn of Ibrahimovic's talents, in the 2nd leg in Paris, due to the Swede suffering a hamstring injury.

PSG won't the only team on a revenge mission as English champions Manchester City get the chance to turn the tables on four-time winners, Barcelona.

City faced the Blaugrana in their first ever Champions League knockout tie at the same stage last season and lost 4-1 on aggregate.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will have a wry smile on his face as he watch the Gunners drawn with his old club Monaco.

Wenger spent seven years with the French side were he won a league and cup.

Another eye-catching tie is the clash of Italian champions Juventus and German relegation strugglers Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund, with former Celtic midfielder Paul Lambert in their ranks, defeated Juve 3-1 in the 96/97 final to win the only European Cup in their history.

The draw in full;

  • PSG v Chelsea
  • Manchester City v Barcelona
  • Bayer Leverkusen v Atletico Madrid
  • Juventus v Borussia Dortmund
  • Schalke v Real Madrid
  • Shakhtar Donetsk v Bayern Munich
  • Arsenal v Monaco
  • Basel v Porto

Those ties will be played on the 17th and 18th  of February with the second legs to take place a week later.
