...Virgil van Dijk!

The Dutch centre-half has apparently been a 'wantaway' player at Parkhead since manager Ronny Deila took over ahead of the start of last season.

He is reportedly a target for Arsenal, Manchester United and Everton who may be fearful that their star defender John Stones could be enticed by the admiring glances of Premier League champions Chelsea.

van Dijk joined the Hoops from Dutch side Groningen for over €3.5 million in 2013 but would be valued at four or five times that amount right now.

Celtic assistant boss John Collins fully believes that the 24-year-old would be more inclined to stay if the club make the group stages of the Champions League.

"For me the biggest competition in the world is the Champions League. That's where every player wants to play, every coach wants to coach and every supporter wants to be.

"If you are a centre half playing in the Champions League you are up against the best forwards in the world. It's a great challenge and if you do well in the Champions League it puts you on a different level."

Deila has had enough of the questions about his player which were thrown at him again in the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Qarabag FK of Azerbaijan in the first leg of their third qualifying round tie
