Michael Carton could be set to miss the rest of the Dublin hurlers Allianz League campaign.
The full back hobbled off the pitch in the first half of Dublin’s defeat to Clare yesterday in Ennis.
He injured himself clearing a Tony Kelly shot off the line to prevent a goal.
And the O’Tooles man looked in some discomfort as he was helped off the pitch.
Dublin boss Ger Cunningham revealed afterwards that Carton had injured his ankle:
Dublin led when Carton was taken off.
But the Boys in Blue missed his presence at the back in the second half, as Clare came from behind to claim a 2 point victory.
