Hull City manager Steve Bruce has ruled himself out of the running to become the next Newcastle boss.
Crystal Palace are expected to confirm the appointment of Alan Pardew today leaving the manager's office at St James' Park vacant.
Newcastle are set to pocket more than €2 million for allowing Pardew to leave for Palace after the clubs agreed a compensation fee.
Bruce was one on the names being touted for the position at his boyhood team. The Hull boss says he remains committed to the cause. Bruce has no plans to leave the KC Stadium.
