Ian Madigan to Munster was not a viable option - that's according to Brian O'Driscoll.
The out-half confirmed his move to Top 14 side Bordeaux yesterday. He was also a reported target of English Championship side Bristol, with Harlequins also interested in the 26-year-old Dubliner.
The IRFU were reportedly keen to keep Madigan in the Irish system, and a move to Munster was mooted in the press.
In a video posted to his website, O’Driscoll says Madigan wouldn't have been suited to Munster:
