Robbie Brady and Darron Gibson have both been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming games against Oman and Georgia.

Martin O'Neill's named the pair in his 36 man squad after long term injuries.

Ireland face Oman in a friendly on the 3rd of September, with the Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia four days later.

Gibson's inclusion comes as he was declared available for selection by Roberto Martinez for Everton's game against Arsenal at the weekend.

There are no new faces in the squad but O'Neill has revealed that he met with young Aston Villa prospect Jack Grealish and his father this week.

The Irish under-21 midfielder has yet to declare for Ireland at senior level, but O’Neill admitted he was interested in getting him to commit to his side:

O'Neill also confirmed that Robbie Keane will remain as Irish Captain for the forthcoming European Champions qualifying campaign.
